F[e]ast of the Firstborn

Fast of the Firstborn commemorates the salvation of the Israelite firstborns during the Plague of the Firstborn.

Illuminated Haggadah

In the Book of Exodus it is the tenth and final plague wrought upon Ancient Egypt prior to the Exodus of the Children of Israel.

Today wonder | wonder | world gathers around our interfaith table to feast our first borns - sister and birthday celebrant as well as visiting niece and her first born.

We celebrate both Pesach and Passover from both our religions.

But mostly we celebrate the joyous union of family gathered together in love and gratitude for all our blessings.

Happy Birthday!
