YOGA | East & West

With the Feast of the Epiphany on January 6, the holidays have officially come to a close for those of us who keep to a western calendar.

For those of us who incorporate eastern practices into our lives, we still have the big bang of Chinese New Year to look forward to this January 28.

After all the holiday feasting it was great to get started once again on some yoga here at wonder | wander | world.

The bane of today's practitioner is yoga's popularity. As with any current favorite so many have jumped on the band wagon with many eager beavers wanting to improve on a good thing.

This ancient and ageless practice has grown unrecognizable in the zest and zealotry of today's eager market.

The road to hell is truly paved with good intentions.

Om to you honeys but stay away from me and my yoga practice.
